Resurrection Day

Resurrection Day 2011. Didn't get a lot of pictures, but here are a few of the boys that morning.

We are grateful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who paid it all--took on the punishment for our sins, because of His great love for us. And He is risen!

We had a great time reading the biblical account of Christ's resurrection with the boys on the days leading up to Easter and that morning.

Parthenon Field Trip

In March, we took a field trip to the Parthenon here in Nashville because Elijah's 2nd grade class at their tutorial had been studying about ancient Greece. Here are some pictures of our time there.

Had to bring bread to feed the ducks..

Family Photo Shoot

In February, Jason's sister, Jessica took some photos of our family. We are truly grateful to you, Jessica, for doing this for us. They turned out beautifully!

Joshua taking a little peek...

Petsmart Field Trip

Recently, we took a little field trip to Petsmart, to see all the animals and hear about habitat, characteristics of the animals, etc. A few pictures of the day...

They held a corn snake!

First Dentist Check-up

Back in January, four of us went for a dental checkup and it was Joshua' first...

The hygienist was super with him, allowing him to hold tools, and "help" her with all kinds of things.

Getting those little teeth clean!

See, look how clean. He did a great job!

What a big boy...

Isaac is 6!

On January 2, 2011 our Isaac turned 6! We had a fun day, complete with a waffle breakfast, bowling, and presents.

This really isn't a great picture, because it doesn't really show what he got for his birthday, but it was the best I had! Mario Kart, for the Wii. Anyone who really knows Isaac, knows why we got him this.

And why he requested this kind of cake (chocolate chip peanut butter cookie cake in the shape of a race track, not to exclude a good crash!

Bowling as a family. So fun!

This isn't exactly the clearest picture, but check out those scores (wink, wink :))

Sweet Isaac, complete with his sweet smile :)

It's hard to think that our Isaac, who God brought to us 3 weeks early, who needed a little help (via oxygen) for the first day, and who weighed a whopping 5 1/2 pounds when born, has grown to be a wonderful, full-of-life kind of kid. He is full of love and passion, and we pray every day he will grow into a man of God full of love and passion for his Savior.
